Formal Steps:

Formal steps are cut or guillotined to be a specific height, width and depth.  They are smooth on the top and bottom and are the perfect fit for a more formal area.  Most steps are 6" high.

 

Random Steps:

Random steps are large stone slabs of approximately 6" that are a variety of lengths.  Steps such as these blend in with the landscaping around them.  There are certain applications that call for a product that does not stand out from the surroundings but becomes a part of it.
